Course Description:
Follows the course description set up by the College Board
Syllabus:
We will cover all 60 chapters of the textbook and do 12 labs required by the College Board.

Cells
Cellular Energetics
Heredity and Evolution- 25%

Molecular Genetics
Evolutionary Biology
Organisms and Populations- 50%
Diversity of Organisms
Structure and Function of Plants and Animals
Ecology
Homework will consist of written essays for each chapter, study guide questions, and lab reports. Unit tests will cover multiple chapters that are related to a common theme.
Exam Information:
The exam consists of 80 multiple choice questions worth 60% of the final grade and 4 essay questions worth 40% of the final grade.
Scores in any particular year depend on the performance of all students who take the exam nationally.
The exam will be administered during the first or second week of May.
